Weekend Memes: Divine Mercy Sunday

The Sunday after Easter is Divine Mercy Sunday! Jesus appeared to St. Faustina and told people to venerate the image of Divine Mercy which depicts the risen Christ with blood and water flowing from his heart, with the inscription: “Jesus I trust in you”. Jesus promised that, “The soul that will go to Confession and receive Holy Communion shall obtain the complete forgiveness of sins and punishment” (Faustina’s Diary, 699).
