WATCH: This Sunday, Why Am I Judgmental?


Why am I judgmental? The answer might be surprising to us.

On this Eighth Sunday of Ordinary Time, Year C, Brother Leven Harton challenges us to to ask, “Why do you notice the splinter in your brother’s eye, but do not perceive the wooden beam in your own?”

A Benedictine College graduate, Brother Leven is a monk of St. Benedict’s Abbey in Atchison, Kansas, where he serves as vocation director.

St. Benedict Abbey’s 60 Seconds for Sunday series looks at each upcoming Sunday’s readings.
