IMAGES: May Crowning on Campus

Enjoy pictures of Benedictine College’s May Crowning. Each year, male students planning to enter seminary or religious life serve at a Mass and female students who plan to discern the religious life crown the statue of the Blessed Virgin Mary at the grotto.

After Mass, the congregation processes from the Abbey Church to Mary’s Grotto down Mary’s Way.

Benedictine Father Simon Baker leads the congregation in prayers.

Father Simon blesses the crown, held by Kristie Le who is entering the Marians.

The event is well attended by students, faculty, staff and families.

Le climbs the blue ladder, while Alexis Maurer waits at the top.
