D.C. Raven: Brigid Ueland

Meet Brigid Ueland, a current senior at Benedictine College and Gregorian Fellow from Arlington, Virginia, studying History and Economics. Many of our Gregorian Fellows had opportunities to participate in top internships around the country. Here is her experience of interning for the U.S. Senate in Washington, D.C.

“This summer, I interned for the Senate Finance Committee in their oversight office. Because of the Committee’s jurisdiction, I was able to work on the healthcare reconciliation bill, doing research on the various aspects of the bill. I also gave tours to out of town guests and attended a number of briefings and hearings on behalf of committee staff.”

Brigid also had the opportunity to represent the Gregorian Institute at the National Catholic Prayer Breakfast in May of this year.

See a regular Fellows Friday update every week and share our stories from our social media page.
