Mariele Courtois

Mariele Courtois, Ph.D., is an assistant professor of moral theology at Benedictine College in Atchison, Kansas. She wrote her doctoral dissertation on genetic engineering ethics, to which she applies St. Edith Stein’s understanding of individuality.

As a member of the Vatican’s AI Research Group, she is a contributing author of Encountering Artificial Intelligence: Ethical and Anthropological Investigations
