WATCH: This Sunday, Rest with Jesus

Jesus says he is the Bread of Life. When we enter into the Eucharist, we can rest with Jesus. We are strengthened so that we may rise back up again to fulfill our mission.

This is what Father Jay Kythe OSB says about the Gospel for the 20th Sunday in Ordinary Time in his 60 Seconds for Sunday presentation.

Father Jay is a monk of St. Benedict’s Abbey on the campus of Benedictine College in Atchison, Kansas. He has served the college as an instructor and assistant chaplain and currently administers the sacraments at Maur Hill-Mount Academy Catholic school in Atchison.
