WATCH: This Sunday, Whose Image Is Stamped on You?

Father Jay Kythe, OSB, reflects on the Gospel for the 29th Sunday in Ordinary Time in which Jesus says “Render unto Caesar what is Caesar’s and unto God what is God’s” and points out we are all made in God’s image (not vice versa, as we too often pretend).

Father Jay is a monk of St. Benedict’s Abbey on the campus of Benedictine College in Atchison, Kansas. He has served the college as an instructor and assistant chaplain and currently administers the sacraments at Maur Hill-Mount Academy Catholic school in Atchison.

St. Benedict Abbey’s 60 Seconds for Sunday series of videos looks at each upcoming Sunday’s readings.

The monks at the Abbey, along with the Benedictine Sisters at Mount St. Scholastica, are what make Benedictine College in Atchison, Kansas, Benedictine.
