WATCH: This Sunday, Listen Hard and You’ll Hear God

Many things can drown out a voice crying out in the desert, says Father Jay Kythe OSB.

He is speaking about the reading for Sunday, Dec. 10, the Second Sunday of Advent (Year B), in which John the Baptist calls us to repentance.

Father Jay is a monk of St. Benedict’s Abbey on the campus of Benedictine College in Atchison, Kansas. He has served the college as an instructor and assistant chaplain and currently administers the sacraments at Maur Hill-Mount Academy Catholic school in Atchison.
